AGLOBIS and ECM have signed an Engineering Service Agreement to start Extended Basic Engineering for a sulphur remelter plant.
We are pleased to announce the next major step toward establishing a long-term molten sulphur solution in Europe.
AGLOBIS has signed a multimillion-euro Extended Basic Engineering agreement with ECM, a company of the Kraftanlagen group. This milestone marks significant progress in developing our envisioned 400'000 MT sulphur remelter plant. Under this agreement, Sulphurnet will support the project as a subcontractor to ECM, bringing in its specialized expertise in sulphur processing technology.
The agreement lays the groundwork for the next 7–8 months of detailed planning and technical design, ensuring we are well-positioned to move forward to the construction phase. Engineering activities are already underway, underscoring the shared commitment and momentum behind this initiative. This step highlights our ongoing dedication to building a reliable and sustainable infrastructure for the molten sulphur industry in Europe.
We thank our partners and stakeholders for their continued trust and look forward to sharing further updates as the project advances.
